Here is the summary of our research regarding dikaioma and the "righteous acts":

  • dikaioma is the Greek word translated as "righteous acts" in Revelation 19:8 and other passages. The word means "an equitable deed."
  • Righteousness and walking in righteous acts go hand in hand. (Luke 1:6, Matthew 7:17)
  • Unrighteousness and not walking in the commandments of G-d also go hand in hand. (Romans 1:28-32)
  • The commandments of G-d are those righteous acts. (Luke 1:6, Romans 2:26)
  • We were created in Messiah Yeshua to do good deeds (Ephesians 2:10, Romans 5:18).
  • One reason why G-d sent His own Son was so that the righteous acts of the Law might be performed by us (Romans 8:4).
  • In Revelation, the righteous acts of the saints are called G-d's righteous acts. (Revelation 15:4, 19:8)
