Hoshanah Rabbah- The Seventh Day of Sukkot

c 989 BCE- King Solomon finishes the dedication ceremonies of the First Temple. (1 Kings 8:65)

c 517-516 BCE- Haggai delivers prophecy to encourage Zerubabel and Joshua the high priest to build the Second Temple.  (Haggai 1:1-2)

October 16, 1946-  Following the Nuremberg trials, 10 Nazi war criminals were hanged. The hanging of the 10 Nazis eerily echoed the 10 sons of Haman who were hanged in the Purim story. Incredibly, this day on the Jewish calendar is Hoshanah Rabbah, the traditional day of judgment for the nations of the world.
