The Hebrew Words
Pekudei is a conjugation of the Hebrew word pekudim (Strong's #6491). It is a Hebrew word which means "to number" or "count" something. It comes from the root word pakad (Strong's #6485) which means "to attend to", "visit", "muster", or "appoint". Pekudim is used once in the whole of the Tanakh.
First and Only Use in Scripture
The only time pakach is used in Scripture is in this week's parasha: Exodus 38:21.
