1523- The final section of the entire Babylonian Talmud was printed by Bomberg in Venice. It culminated a four year project.
June 18, 1815- Napoleon was defeated at Waterloo by British and Prussian troops. The defeat put a final end to Napoleon’s rule as Emperor of France.
